What sort of language learner are you?

In this blog we want you to analyse your learning style and habits, for this purpose you have two types of questionnaire to answer.

The first one would be a kind of questionnaire for their first day of class to make you think about your language learning skills in different fields, such as:

Your fluency, your listening skills, your writing, your reading and how you behave with your learning process, such as the correction of their own mistakes, learning how to look up words in a dictionary, how you do to learn new vocabulary.

There are also some questions about their contact with the English language at home and abroad. This is to make you think about the possibilities you have of using English and why you are learning the language.

This can make you think about your needs and problems, and you can get some feedback from the teacher to improve these aspects. This is in relation to the class group. After these proposals you can make your own resolutions to improve your studying habits and the needs to do parallel activities outside the classroom, like conversation classes, conversation exchange, watching films in English, etc.

To promote autonomous learning you can read the learning tips and see if you can apply it and see for yourselves if it works.

There is another type of questionnaire which is not to make you compromise at the beginning of the course to work hard on your learning and get motivated. This type of questionnaire is to make you think about your learning styles.

This blog is to make you reflect about your learning and also to promote your autonomy in the language learning. There is a site Gala's site which they can use to improve your progress and to consult any questions you have.

If you are desperate with your English take it easy and watch this video for a laugh!!
